RS Travels is a private, invitation-only travel journal shared between a small
number of authorized people. This policy explains what it stores and how it is used.
What we collect
- Account details — your name and email address, used to sign you in.
- Photos and videos you add, including any location, date, and camera
information embedded in those files.
- Content you create — trips, places, notes, ratings, comments,
reactions, and scrapbook pages.
- Location derived from the photos you choose to add, used to place
them on your map. The app does not track your device's live location in the background.
How it's stored and used
- Your content is stored on our private server and in Amazon Web Services (AWS) storage,
and is used only to provide the app's features to you and the people you share the
journal with.
- We do not sell your data, show advertising, or use third-party
analytics or tracking.
- Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
Sharing
Because RS Travels is a shared journal, content you add is visible to the other
authorized members of your journal. It is not shared with anyone else.
Retention and deletion
Your content is kept until you delete it. You can delete individual photos, videos,
places, and trips from within the app. To delete your account and all associated data,
email support@ellingtongifts.com and we will remove it.
Children
RS Travels is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
